- Options flow
- The real-time stream of options trades. Shows where activity is concentrated — not what happens next.
- Unusual options activity
- Options volume well above a ticker's normal level. A prompt to look, not a direction.
- Confidence / activity score
- A 0–100 measure of how MUCH is happening on a ticker. Not a probability the trade works.
- Bias (bullish / bearish / neutral)
- Our read of which way the flow leans. Context, not a guarantee.
- Catalyst
- A news event (earnings, filing, deal) that helps explain why a ticker is active.
- Volume / OI ratio
- Today's option volume vs standing open interest. A high ratio suggests fresh positioning.
- Open interest (OI)
- The number of option contracts currently open. Shows positions that exist — not their direction.
- Implied volatility (IV)
- The market's expected size of future moves, priced into options. High IV = a wide move priced in.
- Put/call ratio
- Put volume divided by call volume. A rough gauge — read at extremes, not literally.
- Gamma exposure (GEX)
- An estimate of how much dealer hedging is stacked at each price level. Positive = dampened, negative = amplified.
- Gamma wall
- A strike with a large pile of dealer gamma. Call walls often act as resistance, put walls as support.
- Gamma flip
- The level where net dealer gamma changes sign — roughly where a calm regime turns volatile.
- Max pain
- The strike where the most options expire worthless. A rough magnet level near expiration.
- Volume spike ("sweep")
- Volume concentrated at a single strike — an unusually large share of the day's contracts there.
- Big premium ("block")
- A large dollar commitment concentrated at one strike.
- DTE (days to expiration)
- Days to expiration. Drives how fast an option decays and how sensitive it is to price.
- 0DTE options
- Options that expire the same day. Cheap, extremely sensitive, and fast-decaying.
- Watch-only
- Analytics that never place trades or connect to a broker. You see the flow; every decision is yours.
