0DTE means zero days to expiration — options that expire the same trading session. They're cheap, extraordinarily sensitive to price, and can swing from near-zero to many multiples (or the reverse) within hours. Enormous volume trades in 0DTE, especially on index products.
For a watcher, 0DTE flow is a window into very short-term positioning — and a reminder of how fast options risk moves. We flag 0DTE so you always know the clock you're looking at.
