This policy explains how billing, the free trial, cancellation, and refunds work for paid plans on Catalyst Options™, operated by Catalyst Options LLC. It is part of, and consistent with, our Terms of Service (see “Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation”). Plainly: you can cancel whenever you want, and you keep access through the period you already paid for.
1. Free trial
Paid plans (Pro, Elite) start with a 7-day free trial. We collect your payment method up front, but you are not charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, the trial simply stops and no charge is made. If you do not cancel, your plan begins and your card is charged when the trial ends, then on each renewal until you cancel.
2. Billing & renewal
Paid plans bill on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as you selected) through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. Prices and plan features may change on prospective notice; changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time — no email required, no retention hoops. Go to Billing and choose Manage Subscription to open the secure Stripe customer portal, then cancel there.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- You keep full access to your paid plan until that period ends — you are not cut off early.
- Cancelling during the free trial ends the trial immediately with no charge.
4. Refunds
Because you can cancel at any time and keep access through the period you paid for, and because a 7-day free trial lets you evaluate the Service before any charge, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods after a cancellation.
If you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after a completed cancellation), contact us and we will investigate and correct it promptly.
